Chop Wood Carry Water Plant Seeds is a blog about Self-Sufficient Homesteading. How can we live by creating a sustainable bio-diverse world, instead of by consuming and destroying the only one we have? What kind of teaching have you got if you exclude nature?

We took an 18km stroll today

Since this was the sunniest day so far we decided to stretch our legs in the local nature. The near by lake Finjasjön was a good choice. We packed the rucksack with a few sandwiches, rain suits and water.
The tour is 18km long and took us 4 hours. Bailey enjoyed swimming in the lake.
Lagotto Romagnolo is called Water Dog for a good reason ;)
Bailey the Lagotto refuses to pass through the start point waiting for me to do it first ;)
Bailey and his matte Kristine eating a banana. Aren't bananas for monkeys?
Did you know that there are 290 wild solitary bees and bumble bees in Sweden? Apparently their habitat is endangered :( this is not something we hear for the first time, no :(
